Dr. Elena Ivanova is a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the School of Health and Exercise Sciences. She also has a clinical role at the Ministry of Children and Family Development working as a Registered Psychologist at Youth Forensic Psychiatric Services. Elena completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology at McGill University in 2016.
Research
Elena’s main research interests are to train novice health behaviour change counsellors in the use of Motivational Interviewing when working with community members at risk for chronic disease.
